The main character, Charlie Walker, decides in high school that he wants to be a mechanical engineer. This novel is about karma events and adventures Charlie has attending two colleges and interning one summer for a consulting engineering firm.

Jim Parks grew up in Iowa and has lived in Northwest Arkansas since 1980. His work experience includes many years of  writing for a consulting firm in areas of company communications, marketing, and HR. He presently works for the firm part-time. “I enjoy writing novels,” Parks said, “especially writing multiple books in a series. Readers like seeing their favorite characters "live on" and I like the challenge of keeping the main characters fresh and interesting."
