This work deals with the Gospel according to the Church of Stop Shopping- a manifesto for activists and fans of 'No Logo' and 'Culture Jam' and the hilarious companion to the new documentary by Super Size Me film-maker Morgan Spurlock. Founded by performance artist and activist Bill Talen (aka Reverend Billy), the Church of Stop Shopping is on a mission to protest against the modern culture of commercialization and consumption that leads to environmental devastation, social iniquity and other dangers both measurable and immeasurable.
