Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 1st Edition. 8vo, hardcover, dust jacket, xxi, 292pp., ills. First printing. Signed by Wilkin at the title page. From the library of Andreas Brown (1933-2020), with his extensive marginal and end notes. Brown was the manager and second proprietor of Gotham Book Mart. In that capacity he did as much for Edward Gorey's career as anyone via promotions, publications, and exhibits. He long labored over a book on Gorey, the research for which led him down a number of biographical and bibliographical lanes. Any new publication devoted to the master was likely to receive this acolyte's proofing by way of notes, corrections, and additions. This assemblage by Brown's friend Wilkin proved no exception. A VG+ book save for the markings (and so marked G only) in a VG+ jacket. Extra postage may be asked (3). Signed by Author(s).
