Interior is lightly toned but otherwise unmarked. Quite scarce, OCLC. 47734342. Dame Agnes Jekyll, DBE (née Graham; 12 October 1861 28 January 1937) was a British artist, writer and philanthropist. The daughter of William Graham, Liberal MP for Glasgow (1865 1874) and patron of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, sister-in-law of the famous gardener. A collection of aphorisms, poems, short essays, and quotations that Jekyll enjoyed. Collected by herself and edited by her daughters and printed as a memorial to their mother the year of her death. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 328 pages.
