Auch Goethe erwähnte den Titel als Teil seiner Jugendlektüre. Die dann in Vergessenheit geratene deutsche Robinsonade u. Staatsutopie wurde 1828 in der vorliegenden Bearbeitung von Ludwig Tieck neu herausgegeben. Tieck machte das Werk durch die straffende u. sprachlich modernisierte Fassung wieder bekannt (vgl. auch Fritz Brüggemann: Utopie und Robinsonade. Untersuchungen zu Schnabels Insel Felsenburg. A. Duncker, Weimar 1914). - Einbände berieben u. bestossen; tlw. gestempelt u. mit Besitzervermerken; tlw. fleckig, sonst eine gute Reihe in unterschiedlichen Einbänden.
