W. has published 4000 copies of this valuable Work, on a new plan. It is divested of the Marginal References, but contains every other article in the five volumes of his two former editions. The Notes are disposed immediately after the Text they are designed to illustrate, and the Practical Observations at the end of the chapter. From the encouragement given to this arrangement, it is judged to be the most acceptable yet presented to the public ; as up wards of two thousand two hundred subscribers have been received.
