Published by James MacLehose and Sons, Glasgow University Press, 1906. This is a reprint of the 'editio princeps' of 1632, which was Imprinted in London by Nicholas Oakes. Limited edition of 1,000 copies sold in Great Britain and Ireland. A good red cloth hardback with gilt title to spine. Some bumping, especially to head and tail of spine and a few wear marks to cover. Spine is sun faded. Slight give in the binding, but all still bound. Endpapers and pages at extremities with foxing, then scattered spotting throughout. Foxing to text block edges. With some rough cut edges as issued. An attractive book, with the reprinted 17th Century plates very attractive. xxxi + 448pp + 2pp + Plates. Weight approximately 760g (unpacked). Approx Dimensions: 235mm high x 156mm wide x 40mm deep.
